Spa Coordinator

The Old Hammam & Spa is currently looking for Part Time Spa Cleaners/Facilitators to work in our lovely spa in North London.

​

Duties will include:

• Keep facilities and spa area clean throughout the day to a high standard

• Reporting any maintenance problems

• Welcoming all our guests

• Giving guests guided tour of our facilities & treatments

• Organising guests spa treatments through the booking system

• To comply with health and safety regulations

• To perform opening & closing duties

 

Requirements:

• Must be a team player

• This role would suit a candidate who lives in the borough/flexible

• Shifts will run between Monday - Sunday

Required experience:

• Customer Service: 3 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time, 22/25 Hours a week

Qualifications/Certificates must be provided at interview.

Requirements:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years experience

• Very good in giving after care advice

• Independent therapists with very good communication skills

• Great standard of hygiene

Soprano Ice Platinum Laser Therapists

The Old Hammam & Spa is now recruiting Level 4 Soprano Ice Laser Hair Removal Therapists in North London.

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct all aspects of our Soprano Ice Platinum laser hair removal treatments, from initial consultation to post treatment advice and care

• Organise client records

• Ensure all clients receive an exceptional personal service

• Promote other treatments and packages offered at the spa

Requirements:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 4 or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year experience with Soprano Ice Lasers or 2 years experience in the laser hair removal treatment field is essential

• Soprano Ice Laser Core of Knowledge or Manufacturers Training certificate is essential

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

• Impeccable standards of grooming and presentation

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Laser Hair Removal Treatments: 2 years

• Soprano Ice Lasers: 1 year

Spa Receptionist

The Old Hammam & Spa is now recruiting a full time Spa Receptionist in North London.

​

Responsibilities:

• Taking accurate messages.

• Meet and greet customers, providing a positive and friendly attitude.

• Processing payments (cash, card) in house and over the phone.

• Data entry – scheduling appointments.

• Check in customers as they arrive for their scheduled appointments.

• Notifying staff members of any customer cancellations or the arrival of any unscheduled visitors.

• Provide daily maintenance of the reception area – keep the reception tidy and free for movement.

• Keep customers updated on currently available promotions and discounts in services offered in the spa.

• Provide guidance to customers on the procedures of the spa – Ensure all customers go through a health consultation procedure (form).

• Issue receipts when processing payments and input in diary for relevant date & time.

• Support therapists and housekeeping staff.

• General administrative duties – Ensure all paperwork is complete, diary input is up to date.

• Awareness and acknowledgement of all packages, prices and general information.

• Maintain spa appointment calendar, organise massage therapists and scheduled treatments.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.

• Responsible for addressing and troubleshooting customers’ needs and concerns.

Requirements:

• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar receptionist role (a spa, hospitality or sport and leisure environment)

• A great team player in order to join the spa team and together create and deliver The Old Hammam & Spa experience

• Candidates must be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the spa industry

• Very good communication skills

• Great standard of hygiene

• Excellent awareness and attention to detail

• Well organised and enjoys multitasking

• Ability to work as part of a team.
